Summer 2021 In Photos

The bookbags are packed. The first day of school chalkboards are ready. The alarms are set. Tomorrow morning, it's back to school. But first, I'm reliving summer (my favorite season!), by taking a little walk down memory lane with some of my favorite summer photos.

The beginning of our summer was full of swim team: hours of practice, Tuesday nights at swim meets, and the quest for the elusive first place ribbon.

We had plenty of time for fun at the pool, too.

We visited the sunflower fields

and lots of playgrounds.

There were celebrations: the Fourth of July, a much overdue date night, birthdays and all the classic summer fun--water balloons, fireworks, fishing.

I had a chance to change up the dynamics some and spend some time with just the little two.

And then got to spend a morning on a ropes course adventure with my big kid.

We had some quiet time at home and found magic in playing library, in spotting butterflies landing on flowers, and in making our own movie theater.

And we spent our last weekend of summer at our favorite spot, the pool.
